Do or Do Not.

Challenge 1 … Financial.  Even though the money tree has been watered there is not enough to broadcast across the 1/2 acre lot. Established plants are not affordable.

Solution …. Slowly, slowly. Plant seeds. Nurture. Love. Watch them grow and find their roots. Purchase heirloom varieties.

Time …. Need more to learn about what plant to place where so they are in guilds, families and have a healthy environment, good conditions, to be growing in.

Solution….. Eliminate unNecessaries in my day to day life to spend more time focused on growing my garden.

This blog post is in response to Natalie’s 10 Day Freedom Plan Blog Challenge Day 1

Who I am and why I am here, blogging and living life

An introduction so you know who I am. Sixty plus (just) years ago I chose a family in Sydney, two lovely parents and a sister. I was wanted and loved and taught good values and to have a social conscious. We lived in a practical, countrified home where doing work, creations, with our hands was recognised and valued.

The hats that I have worn, and some I continue to wear are daughter, sister, secretary, musician, wife, daughter in law, sister in law, aunt, Mother, divorcee, single Mother, teacher and creator of traditional crafts, gardener, business lady, permaculture consultant, friend, soulmate, lover and soon to be Nan.

I am a Sagittarian, a traveller who loves being on the move, but resting and recharging in the spiritual Yurt/Roundhouse my family own, photography, simple living, country skills, cooking and crafts, and history, amongst a long list of interests.

Why I am here blogging? Communication is so important to me. I want to continue to stretch and keep on learning and to share.

Tree of life with many branches.

Tree of life with many branches.

image image imageThe New Oxford Dictionary says …. “a person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection”

Friends are Very Special People. Some are golden oldies, since kindergarten days, and some are newies from Facebook connections. Some hype us up, stress us out, but others calm us down and make us stop to smell the roses. To have a friend you need to be a friend.  “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” Matthew 7:12.

Friends are sometimes the family that isn’t there who know the good, the bad and the wonderful.  Why is it that often different circles of a person only overlap and have a wonderful time at the wake of their mutual friend. If they had met earlier everyone’s circle of friendship may have been expanded and many happy times shared.

Last weekend my friend of many, many years (since Kindergarten) shared a wonderful long weekend with me, and my newer friends. What fun we had! Much laughter along with tears, but oh so many fresh memories to add to the already older memories. These we can all replay when alone, and know that we are loveable, loved and give love. Thanks be to wonderful friends, and strangers who will become friends.
